Cardboard boxes are an essential part of packing and shipping products. However, what do you do with the cardboard boxes once the products have been shipped?

How to recycle your cardboard boxes

  • Breaking down a cardboard box is very simple, remove any plastic packaging or tape that is used to secure the box and place it in a generally rubbish bin as that is usually not biodegradable.
  • Paper take can be left on as it biodegrades easily.
  • Flatten the box ready for recycling or composting
  • Fold the top and bottom flaps outward and push the opposite corners so that the box can fold flat.

Always recycle cardboard boxes on a regular basis as any boxes that end up in landfills can cause the release of toxic gases that is certainly to friendly to the environment.
